Welcome to Cleyo (https://cleyo.co). By using our website and services, you agree to comply with the following terms.

1. Overview

Cleyo is a newsletter content amplification platform designed for content creators and newsletter writers. Our service uses AI to transform your newsletters into LinkedIn carousels, LinkedIn text posts, and Twitter threads, helping you maximize your content distribution across social platforms.

2. Accounts

To use Cleyo, you must:

  • Provide accurate information, including your name and email address
  • Verify your email address
  • Create a secure password or sign up via Google OAuth
  • Provide payment information for paid subscriptions (Pro plan)

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Cleyo offers the following plans:

  • Free Plan: 2 content generations per month, 2 PDF exports per month
  • Pro Plan: $29/month or $252/year ($21/month) - Unlimited generations, unlimited PDF exports, custom branding, and priority support. Includes a 7-day free trial.

By subscribing to the Pro plan, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable subscription fees
  • Automatic renewal unless you cancel before the next billing cycle

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing settings. There are no long-term commitments or cancellation fees.

4. Content & AI Processing

Cleyo processes your content to provide our services:

Your Content

You may submit content to Cleyo by:

  • Providing a URL to your published newsletter
  • Pasting text content directly into the platform

AI-Generated Content

Cleyo uses AI (powered by Anthropic Claude) to generate:

  • LinkedIn carousel slides (downloadable as PDF)
  • LinkedIn text posts
  • Twitter/X threads

You understand that AI-generated content may require review and editing before publishing. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of all generated content before use.

Content Ownership

You retain all rights to your original newsletter content. You own the AI-generated content created from your newsletters and may use it freely across any platform.

5. Your Responsibilities

When using Cleyo, you are responsible for:

  • Content Rights: Only submit content you own or have permission to repurpose
  • Accuracy: Reviewing AI-generated content for accuracy before publishing
  • Platform Compliance: Ensuring your published content complies with LinkedIn's and Twitter's terms of service
  • Proper Attribution: Maintaining appropriate attribution when required

6. Template Editor & Customization

Pro plan users have access to the template editor, which allows:

  • Custom typography, colors, and layouts for carousels
  • Upload of logos and watermarks
  • Background images and gradients
  • Saved templates for consistent branding

You are responsible for ensuring any uploaded assets (logos, images) do not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Cleyo to:

  • Generate content from newsletters you do not own or have permission to use
  • Create misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content
  • Generate spam or content that violates platform policies
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Distribute harmful, illegal, or offensive content
  • Attempt to breach security or access unauthorized data
  • Resell or redistribute Cleyo's services without permission

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of our service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and reserve the right to:

  • Perform maintenance and updates
  • Modify or discontinue features with notice
  • Suspend service for violations of these terms
  • Implement rate limits to ensure fair usage

9. Intellectual Property

Cleyo and its original content, features, functionality, and branding are owned by Cleyo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to your original newsletter content and the AI-generated content derived from it.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cleyo shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
  • Any consequences from publishing AI-generated content
  • Service interruptions or data loss

11. Updates to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination:

  • Your access to the service will be revoked
  • Your data will be deleted according to our retention policy
  • Prepaid fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law
